The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class X results today. Trivandrum performed best amongst all regions with 99.85 % pass percentage followed by Chennai region with 99.00 % while Ajmer stands at third position with 95.89 % pass percentage in the CBSE X Results
Bhubaneshwar is placed at sixth position in the table with pass percentage score at 92.32%
Total 17,61,078students appeared in the exam out of which 16,04,428 students passed the exam. Overall pass percentage of this year is 91.10. Thirteen students have topped the exam with 499 total marks.
Among the institutes, Kendriya Vidyalay or KV tops the chart with 99.47% students passing. out from the central-government aided schools across the country. JNV or Jawahar Navoday Vidyala follows next with 98.57% pass percentage.

Siddhant Pengoriya of Lotus Valley School of Sector 126, Noida, Divyansh Wadhhwa of Bas Bharti School, Noida, Yogesh Gupta of St. Patrick School of Jaunpur, UP;Ankur Mishra of SAJSchool, Sec-14, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad; Vatsal Varshney of Dewan Public School, Meerut; Manya of St Xavier School, Bhatinda; Aryan Jha of Nand Vidya Niketan, Jamnagar; Taru Jain of St Angela Sophia School, Jaipur; Bhavana N Sivadas of Palghat Lions School, Palakkad, Kerala; Ish Madan of Ch. Chhabil Dass Public School, Patel Nagar, Ghaziabad; Divjot Kaur Jaggi of Convent of Jesus & Mary, Ambala Cantt, Haryana; Apoorva Jain of Uttam School For Girls, Shashtri Nagar, Ghaziabad and Shivani Lath of Mayoor School, Sector-126, Noida.
All the above 13 students have secured 499 of total 500 marks in the CBSE X exam and jointly hold the top position.
In the CWSN of Children With Special Needs category Dilwin Prince of Devamata CMI Public School, Thrissur, Kerala tops the list with 493 marks our of total 500. He is followed by Savan Vishoy of KV, No-2, Naval Base Kochi with 492 marks and Irena Tresa Mathews of Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, Cohin who secured 491 marks.
